College Works Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?

From my experience with College Works Painting, I gained the poise and confidence to know I would be successful, and not just in business, but in every area of my life.

How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

College Works Painting taught me where my true passion in the business world was, and that with hard work, I would be successful at it.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?

How to be responsible for my own destiny, and my own direction for my life. I never felt I would have to just take whatever came my way, but that I could find or create the path that made the most sense for me.

Advice

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?

College Works Painting is a network of hard working, and successful people. It continues to grow and develop as the organization grows and develops. Networking is fundamental in all areas of life, and this network of folks is the A-LIST. If you are interested in surrounding yourself with successful people, there are few networks that can give you an opportunity to do that, like College Works Painting can, if you are willing to put in the work.

What’s your favorite memory from CW?

My first DM training. I had my mind blown away by being taught by College Works Painting leadership that was not older than I was. The energy that was in that room was amazing to see!

Last words of wisdom?

You can learn a lot by working hard, a lot about yourself, what you are willing to do and overcome. The good stuff it builds through the process is what counts. Don’t be afraid to work hard.
