Working For: Music Studio Startup

Title: Founder

Industry: Education

Brief Description of Duties / Responsibilities:

I mentor music teachers who have bold ambitions for their studios and careers. The teachers I work with are excellent musicians, but have found that their formal educations didn’t prepare them for the demands of running a business. Together, we sort out the administrative side of running a music studio so they can do more of what they love. Some of the things we address are: ✦ Building a studio website ✦ Developing a personal brand for more effective marketing ✦ Understanding personal and small business finances ✦ Simplifying studio bookkeeping and scheduling with online tools and software
