College Works Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?

College Works Painting has meant being step ahead of my peers and a network of driven business professionals.

How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

I haven’t graduated yet, but I received multiple internships due to my experience at College Works Painting.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

Thank you for working with me and being flexible when it was not possible to start some jobs until late in the summer.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?

Don’t give up and work hard and you can accomplish what might seem impossible.

How have the friendships and networks you built during CW affected you?

I met someone who did College Works Painting at an internship I did.

If you had to come up with a one line slogan for CW, what would it be?

Painting houses for the future.

Advice

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?

Potential College Works Painting participants- if you dedicate yourself to it even for one year it will be worth it. Current College Works Painting participants- some jobs might seem impossible and you might mess up but learn from them and work harder and you will look back on a summer and be extremely proud of yourself.

What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

I would suggest College Works Painting any summer before the summer after your senior year- at that point an accounting internship would probably be more helpful in landing a job.
