College Works Painting was the best summer of my life, that I never want to do again.
I think that doing College Works Painting as a freshman provided me with experience to hire into top-tier internships and co-ops. More long-term, it provided me with leadership skills and client-interaction skills, something I leverage on a daily basis.
The lady who was so happy when we did her deck for her son’s graduation party later that weekend. It had rained earlier that week so we kept pushing back the job, but on Friday afternoon, we had a window, and we worked into the night and she was so happy.
Everything can be fixed,
The summer during your College Works Painting internship will be the most rewarding summer of your life — be willing to learn. And when it get’s tough, just remember, it’s only a paint job and it can always be fixed.
This will provide you with the experience to be a leader in your field. Professional Internships are great, but College Works Painting is going to provide you with leadership experience you can apply in ways you won’t get from those professional opportunities. You’ve got what, 3 summers in college? DO BOTH. Also, College Works Painting is better than working at a pool or a restaurant, in all cases.
