College Works Painting is a great conversation starter both with clients and perspective employers. They always love to hear the stories and successes of a college student starting a business.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
I can honestly say that having College Works Painting on my resume and bragging about my accomplishments is what got me my first job and lead to my successful career in banking.
What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?
Thank you for trusting in a college student to take care of an important asset, your home. We truly appreciate your patience as we learned on the job and through experience.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
Hard work always pays off in the end. Persistence matters in times of doubt. Work hard, play harder.
If you had to come up with a one line slogan for CW, what would it be?
College Works Painting, tomorrows business leaders- TODAY!

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
The College Works Painting internship not easy to do, but grind it out, be persistent, learn from failure, and ultimately success will happen.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
The College Works Painting internship lets you truly see all the aspects of business. Not just a single focus. You truly are in charge of a business from start to finish. So there is not other way to get a well rounded view of how a business truly works.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Hanging out VIP style in Windsor, Canada. For a weekend, I lived the life of a rock star.
Last words of wisdom?
Stick it out at all costs, the rewards are definitely worth the pain and suffering.
