In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?

College Works Painting was the foundation of my resume on getting a full-time salary job right out of college.

How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

My College Works Painting experience helped me get other internships as well as my job right out of college which was just in May of 2013.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

All of my clients really helped me in my career today as I am now able to understand how different people can be and to base my personality off of theirs.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?

Work hard, play hard. Need to have a balance.

How have the friendships and networks you built during CW affected you?

Advice

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?

For potential College Works Painting participants, the things you will learn from this experience are indescribable, the list goes on and on. Current participants, the tough parts can get pretty tough but getting passed it is the real test of how bad you want to be successful.

What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

College Works Painting gives you the ability to succeed at many different things that future employers really look for. Industry specific internships either allow you to watch the job you think you might want to do without actually doing it hands-on and a lot of times only focus on one of the skill sets you would learn in CWP instead of an abundance or skills.

What’s your favorite memory from CW?

Go big club and sharing those experiences with other successful interns.
