What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?Taking the leap. I left a good position with a Fortune 150 company to pursue a business I had been building on the side. Being an entrepreneur/business owner takes a different mindset, I started the development of that mindset while at College Works Painting.

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
College Works Painting was the correct step forward on my journey to be a successful capitalist.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
My College Works Painting experience shifted my thinking with what I wanted to do for my career and gave me real-life operations experience I never had before.
What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?
I forgot is name but he was tough on me… but it made my business better and business person
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
It’s not supposed to be easy, but it will be rewarding!
Advice
What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Go through the training, commit to success in the program… the lessons you will gain will pay you dividends for years to come. If you’d rather play video games 30 hours a week, no one can help you. Put yourself out there and go learn HOW to win.
Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CW. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?
I’m impressed you chose this path… please, for your own sake, commit to it.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Everything we do in life is directly or indirectly controlled by a business. It doesn’t matter what your profession is (or will be), if you understand business and how to run one… you’re head and shoulders above most.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
The first door I knocked on… I was scared out of my mind. I can take you back to the house today. It began my College Works Painting journey… simply on faith!

My door is always open to the CWP’ers.
