College Works Career Impact
In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
Striving for success. On days where there was no success, push through. On days where there was success, keep pushing.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
College Works Painting landed me internships.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
Never give up. Even though in my case I did. I fought hard but still did not gain any success. One failure does not determine your success as an individual. In fact, success is determined by failure in some way.
How have the friendships and networks you built during CW affected you?
When we see each other around campus we never hesitate to say hi. At least from the team.
If you had to come up with a one line slogan for CW, what would it be?
Ambition breeds excellence.

Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CW. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?
College Works Painting teaches you the skills necessary to go into your field. Any field it may be.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Be flexible to learning about everything. Essentially become a well rounded individual.
Last words of wisdom?
Carpe Diem.
