In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
College Works Painting was a springboard to future success and helped me decide on what I wanted to do in my future career.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
College Works Painting helped me secure a job in consulting. It has helped me establish a business foundation and an understanding of what it takes to be successful.
What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?
Thank you for taking a chance on me and allowing me the privilege to beautify and protect your home. I appreciate your willingness to help me achieve my goals and aspirations and because of your support I have been able to succeed in my current career.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
How to juggle multiple projects, staff and clients at a given time.
How have the friendships and networks you built during CW affected you?
I still interact and communicate with most of my friendships made during College Works Painting. This internship allowed me to surround myself with other successful individuals, whom most of them attended my wedding.
If you had to come up with a one line slogan for CW, what would it be?
Long-term skills earned through real word experiences.

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
This program is not a scam and not an opportunity for others to benefit off of your hard work. This program will teach you life and business lessons you will take with you no matter where you end up.
Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CW. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?
College Works Painting will allow you to gain skills that are applicable to any industry. It will grant you skills you will not be able to obtain in other internships (e.g. management, client satisfaction, equipment management)
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Be flexible, hard working and willing to try new things.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Attending our monthly state gatherings and building lasting friendships with other interns.
