In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
College Works Painting provided me an experience that few could ever understand or appreciate. It taught me how to sell, start and run a business, and so much more.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
The skills I learned at College Works Painting allowed me to find sales roles with ease and enter whichever industry I wanted to learn more about.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
Sales is a numbers game more than anything. The more doors you knock on, the more yes’s you’ll get.

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Take advantage of the opportunity in front of you and know that it’s worth every lost weekend and jam-packed summer.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Don’t be afraid to work for less than you’re worth if it means working with amazing people that can teach you a lot.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Learning to paint a house in the pouring rain.

Never underestimate the value of learning to sell, regardless of which career path you end up taking.
