College Works Painting was the hardest most rewarding opportunity I completed.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
I took a full time position with College Works Painting after graduation worked through the ranks. Eventually, I joined a start up opportunity with another NSG company.
What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?
I painted a house that I grew up in. I drive by that home 10 years later to this day. I reminds me of the internship. The house still looks great.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
Recruiting/ Sales /Operations Management
How have the friendships and networks you built during CW affected you?
Two interns I met at College Works Painting have been life long friends. Both ending up having a major role in my wedding.
Advice
What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
College Works Painting is hard. Commit. If you are not thinking about quitting you’re not working hard enough.
Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CW. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?
Everything industry has a sales competent. Communication skills, negotiation, interpersonal skills etc.
