College Works Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?

College Works Painting has brought me confidence, excellent real world skills, and some incredible relationships.

How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

Everything I learned at College Works Painting applies to my current position. I even have taught my managers a thing or two about closing.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?

That I never want to be a painter and I better be damn good at sales so I don’t have to be. It taught me to be self motivated and to always exceed peoples expectations.

Advice

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?

My advice would be to give the College Works Painting internship all you’ve got. Its a long 8 months but the things you will learn from the internship put you miles ahead of your peers. Get to know people because a lot of great people go through the program and don’t get frustrated and miss the big picture!

What’s your favorite memory from CW?

The numerous war parties that included a lot of laughs.
