College Works Career Impact
In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
A new sense of confidence embedded into every part of my being.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
I started my business with Nick Jarvis, a fellow co-worker at College Works Painting. I never would have found such an amazing partner and we employed all of the skills we had learned in College Works Painting to start our own business.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
Making a mistake only becomes a failure if you give don’t employ new results to make sure that mistake doesn’t happen again.
Advice
What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
If you want to better yourself and see what you can do with a little hard work, follow the College Works Painting formula and it will change your life. Each persons adventure is different, the only question is what will your experience be like? The only failure is not answering that question.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Driving a client’s twin turbo BMW at my intern’s first estimate only hours after meeting him. He let us take it around the block. Needless to say, we booked the job.
Last words of wisdom?
In the next 6 months, you have the power to gain skills that will make you have a bigger impact on the world. The only factor is how bad you want it.
