In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
College Works Painting gave me the chance to experience what is like to run a small business without taking on an excessive amount of risk.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
My College Works Painting experience was a great conversation point during interviews and helped demonstrate my drive to succeed.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
To persevere through difficult times and how important proper communication is.
Advice
What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Make sure you have faith in your DM and believe they will help you succeed. Work hard and don’t be afraid to try ask questions to the people above you.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Network with the firms and get involved in Beta Alpha Psi. Make sure to complete multiple internships before graduation and take the CPA exams as soon as possible. College Works Painting is great to have on a resume, but make sure to have relevant accounting experience as well.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Windsor.

Get after it, this is your career and no one is going to control it but you. Don’t be afraid to give a little push-back and ask questions.
