In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
College Works Painting set a strong foundation for me by developing skills that are very relevant to the real work world. It was also highly challenging and took me far outside of my comfort zone, which gives me confidence when facing similar circumstances moving forward.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
College Works Painting improved my resume to help me get each of my two jobs in a tough job market since graduating college in 2012. It also gave me skills that were extremely pertinent to the work which positioned me to excel.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
Staying calm and being positive are fantastic traits to possess when conducting business.

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Try your best to have fun and stay positive.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Gain a comfort level for speaking with business prospects over the phone, and develop a work ethic to be able work long hours and persevere through frustration and failure. You have to gain these things through action and experience.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Sharing funny stories about each others’ experiences during production.
