College Works Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?

College Works Painting enabled me to taste the rewards of a working hard and playing hard. It is the only organization that will be able to teach how to run a real business and enjoy the rewards of success and failures. I have always valued what I learned and the long-term relationships that I established as a result. To this day there is a group of 4 of us that get together every year since 1997. We are all invested in the others success.

How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

College Works Painting gave me confidence and the skills to reach for goals above and beyond the average.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?

Getting comfortable with failure while trying big ideas. Once one of the big ideas stick, that is when you achieve greatness. If I was afraid of failure, success would have never been enjoyed.

Fight to win. Don’t stop trying and refuse to lose.

What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

Always work hard focusing on a plan of success and what it will take to achieve that success.

What’s your favorite memory from CW?

Seeing the fruits of my labor compared to my peers.
