I help enterprises embrace a zero trust architecture to accelerate their business objectives.
What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?How quickly I rose to top sales intern out of probably 50 to 100 interns in the internship I took immediately following College Works Painting.
College Works Painting provided me with the best possible base of knowledge and experience to enter the job market.
I just graduated in May, but so far – immensely. It has been a major discussion point in every job interview I’ve ever had, and more often than not, gets me the job offer.
I was fortunate enough to have several really great clients – the best were the ones who realized that I was going to do the best job I possibly could for them, no matter what but also realized I was still in college and were patient with me. It gave me a great environment to learn quickly and do a great job, but not be completely crucified for my occasional mistakes.
How to figure it out and perseverance.
I still love meeting up with the College Works Painting guys when I see them around tailgating and that sort of thing. But I’m still really great friends with one, specifically, who interned at the same time as me and am planning on standing up at his wedding in May!
I really like “work hard, play hard”. Though I realize that is a tough sell when every company targeting college students tries to say that, even though their version of play hard is having free pop/coffee in the break room…not Cancun, Ozarks, paintball in a cave, trampoline dodgeball, and Windsor, Canada.
Work hard, play hard, and keep at it. It’s worth it.
If you want to do any form of sales, entrepreneurship, or business management in your future then I can guarantee you won’t find a more useful internship to you than College Works Painting.
Cancun…I’ve leave it there!
