Working For: Pinnacle Logistics Group

Title: Co-Founder

Industry: Logistics

Brief Description of Duties / Responsibilities:

I’m finding ways to make logistics more efficient for my clients. For me, logistics isn’t just about moving freight—it’s about creating smarter, more streamlined processes that reduce costs and improve operations. At Pinnacle Logistics, we take a hands-on approach. We don’t just offer services, we dive deep into our clients’ industries, understand their needs, and find opportunities where others see routine. Whether it’s cutting shipping costs by 12% or helping a client save $87 per pallet through custom pallet analysis, we’re always pushing for better solutions that drive real results. From LTL and FTL to cross-border Mexico shipments, drayage, and multi-stop truckloads, I’ve spent over a decade honing my skills across the board—always looking for ways to optimize and add value.

What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?

Being on track to be the youngest million dollar writer at Ashley Furniture before leaving to Globaltranz to work with my former College Works Painting colleagues Alex Zabaski and Nick Jarvis who have both been roommates of mine and will be my lifelong friends. Also, becoming an introduction leader for Landmark Worldwide being in a community surrounded by extremely powerful people.

College Works Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?

College Works Painting was the hidden hallway that exposed a long row of available doors for me to open that would have otherwise remained an unknown enigma to me.

How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

College Works Painting gave me the confidence to know I could be a top performer in any career I pursued. Immediately after I become the #2 sales rep at Ashley Furniture Homestore in only two weeks. Now I know how crucial managing my time and efforts is.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

I would like to thank all my clients for believing in me and taking a risk letting me paint their home. It added to my development as a professional, thank you.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?

Fake it till you make it and where you invest your time is where you invest your life.

How have the friendships and networks you built during CW affected you?

My College Works Painting colleagues became my roommates, we had a house of 4 of us and it was the year we describe as our college experience. I work with two of them now. I am still roommates with one and we all hang out and talk on a weekly basis. This gentlemen allowed me to find friends I knew I could grow with and keep my entire lifetime.

If you had to come up with a one line slogan for CW, what would it be?

Work Hard, Play Hard

Advice

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?

Listen to your DM, they’ve been through it all. Never give up and organize your time as best you can. Work smarter not harder and then work harder than everyone else on top of it. You have a very short amount of time to give this opportunity everything you’ve got.

Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CW. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?

College Works Painting transfers to any career field I can’t understate that this experience will prepare you more than any other. My recommendation is do College Works Painting first and then you’ll find your target industry opportunities will be a breeze and you will outperform your competition.

What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

Fake it till you make it. -Austin O’Donnell my DM and now VP of AZ.

What’s your favorite memory from CW?

Landing in Vegas for DM training I look down at a text from Matthew Stewart welcoming me to my first trip into Vegas and telling me to quickly get into my hotel and meet him in the Luxurious bar on the top of Mandalay Bay where you had to pay $10k annually to be a member and each room was filled with cultural pieces from different countries across the world. That feeling was incredible.

Last words of wisdom?

Life is just like the College Works Painting program, you have huge ups and huge downs. Having a mentor there is a huge advantage and the structure of this program has allowed for my success moving forward. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
