Boss your future.
Be the pro anyone would want to hire. Spend your summer as an entrepreneur. We’ll teach you how.
How it works.
Step 1
Start application
If you’re a full-time undergrad with a 3.0 GPA, access to a car, and a strong work ethic, this opportunity is for you. Applying is the first step toward building your own business.
Step 2
We’ll be in touch
Our team will review your application. If you meet the qualifications and impress on paper, we’ll move you onto interviews.
Step 3
Interviews
You’ll go through multiple interview rounds to showcase your leadership, work ethic, and ability to succeed in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Step 4
Selection and training
If selected for the SPP, your spring semester will be enriched by intensive business training covering sales, marketing, finance, production, and service delivery.
Step 5
Marketing and hiring
With your business plan in place, it’ll be time to market your business and hire your crew. We’ll teach you how to sell your painting services, recruit team members, and build a strong client pipeline.
Step 6
Estimating and sales
Master the art of closing deals and pricing projects for profitability. You’ll gain hands-on experience meeting clients, estimating jobs, and securing contracts.
Step 7
Finalize production schedule
With contracts secured, you’ll plan your summer production schedule, ensuring your team is ready to deliver high-quality painting services on time and on budget.
Step 8
Go time
This is where your leadership skills shine. You’ll manage your team, oversee job sites, and ensure client satisfaction, all while earning based on your performance.
Step 9
Celebrate success
You’ll close out the summer as an entrepreneur, with a competitive edge in the job market, and a few extra thousand in your pocket—perhaps enough to cover tuition. High performers can also qualify for cash bonuses and travel incentives.
