What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?I bought a house at age 26…pretty scary stuff but a smart move for me.
College Works Career Impact
In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
College Works Painting gave me the opportunity to make mistakes, try something new, and play outside the box while running my own company.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
College Works Painting allowed me to think outside the box immediately after graduating college. It showed me that I don’t have to work for “someone” and to try and work for “myself”. I tried to launch a company and it didn’t work out but that’s part of learning. I’ve taken what I learned in College Works and applied it towards everything in life.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
I learned that lead generation is all about quality, not quantity and having a personal referral is almost guaranteed business. All these tactics have their benefits but quality leads work in your favor 50% of the time and referrals, 90% of the time.

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Do College Works Painting if you’re smart! It’s a great group of people and maybe you’ll learn something about running your own company if that’s what you’re into.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Sales is all about relationships. People like buying from people they trust. Be personable and not fake. Talk about things they want to talk about rather than boast about yourself.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Going paint-balling and hitting my boss with a direct shot…priceless
